As title says a giant van was in my parking spot when I got home from a 12 hour shift. Horrible week capped off with not even being able to park when I got home. So I decided to block them in with my car and will be moving it on Sunday (the next day I work). So AITA?

If there are assigned parking spaces, other residents should be fully aware of that. And they should make sure all their potential guests are also aware of this.
When the owner realizes they can’t do anything, they’ll have either learned their lesson or it will be a teaching moment.
NTA, although I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt if they were new and were there for less than an hour. Hopefully it was all a misunderstanding!
If a “giant van” is taking up your spot how are you blocking them without not being in a spot? As you’ve described it’s a spot in a lot not a driveway. Your car is just going to get towed. Seems fake and made up
