AITA Is it wrong to hate my ex-best friend?

We were friends since elementary school and reconnected in 2020. We worked together until mid-2022, and at the end of 2023, I was imprisoned for a year and several months. That year, he moved into my house because my cousin left him (he also lived with me). He became friends with my mom, other cousins, and my siblings. Now, everyone includes him in everything, and sometimes they don’t even say hello when he arrives. He only stayed at my house until I got out of jail and moved back home. How should I interpret the fact that he only stayed at my house until he moved out and stopped talking to them, even though they still invite him over?

Edit: It doesn’t matter why I was imprisoned; we had already stopped working together by then. The point is, yes, he was there, but what bothers me is that he took my place with my family, literally. It’s not envy or jealousy, because his own family excludes him, so I understand that he sought refuge when I left. But I find it very low that he excludes me from the plans he makes with my own family or that I am left out in his favor.
