i was going on a walk, i go on walks about everyday, and when i do, sometimes ill vape. now before you tell me its bad for me i know, but that is not what this post is about. so when i was walking this lady with a kid sees me vaping and gets super pissed for some reason, she said that it was super harmful to the air quality and its inconsiderate because i can "harm peoples lungs" from vaping near people. Now i do understand this, some people don’t want to inhale anything like that, but just hold your breath when walking next to me which isn’t even needed i would never hit a vape next to someone anyways, she saw me from a distance. plus inhaling a literal trace amount of vapor is not going to get you addicted or harm your health in anyway. its not like im constantly vaping either, i only take a couple hits (4 – 5) each day.
Anyways I told her that i was allowed to and she angrily looked at me and walked off.

See young kids walking towards, just wait until they are passed.
No one wants to smell and inhale your fruity smelling shit and if someone confronts you and asks you to stop near them. You stop.

It depends. It’s a huge pet peeve of mine when someone vapes in a crowded area. But since you mention it’s a small town I’m picturing a pretty empty downtown.

But I would purposely walk away from people and vape when it’s just me or people that do smoke/vape.
Someone’s walking by? I hold it and let it out when they walk past me or blow it downwards the other way.

I used to smoke, then vape. It’s a disgusting habit, but at least I managed to restrain myself long enough if I was walking past someone.
Gonna go against the grain here and say NTA, unless you were in a non smoking area. You’re outside, that is an acceptable place to vape.
