My 75 year old dad has said we cannot go stay at his house by the beach, which he maintains so he can go back and visit his childhood friends, because he fears my four year old son will break something. I feel very hurt and it’s hard for this not to come through in our interactions. It seems unreasonable and god forbid if anything were broken, I would certainly replace it.
