I live with my cousin and the agreement when I moved in was I pay $600 for rent and I have to buy my own basic household items (toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap etc) or pay an extra $50 and she will get all the items so I decided to pay her the $650 a month. It’s been 6 months and since then she has let 3 other people move in and she is telling me I need to buy a pack of toilet paper for the house. I said no obviously because that’s why I pay the extra money for and now there’s tension. Am I wrong for telling her no and just buy a pack or stick to my guns. Mind you this is just one instance there are other things that I’m paying her extra for on top of rent.
