All my class say that I lie ,saying that I like a song when it is on a trend or in a famous serie. But that’s not true.
One day on my class ,all my friends where talking from a serie called STRANGER THINGS . I’ve never told my class I like 80’s music , but that day I told one song very famous in that moment (because of this serie) it was called "Mr sandman" I loved that song because of Back To The Future , they told me that I never said it until now ¿right? ¡WELL YEAH!Also with should I stay or should I go ¡and a lot more! Probably one day it would be on trend uptown funk for Bruno Mars BUT IN THAT MOMENT, THIS IS THE PROOF

This is hard to understand. But NTA for saying you like something. They are AHs for assuming you are lying about what you like solely because it’s mentioned in a TV show.
Who cares? Who cares what they say about what you like and when? If you like it great. Enjoy it and be happy with it. If they are always talking down to you, they aren’t really your friends. Find people who don’t do that to you.
NTA for not disclosing every song you’ve ever listened to in advance before a jury of your peers. That’s simply…odd… and I don’t know a person alive who does that. Just listen to what you like, when you like (as long as it’s not *during* class). Everyone’s tastes will change over time. Popular songs are popular for a reason.

The fact that OP called that song ’80s music made my eyes roll right out of my head and out the door. I really, REALLY need someone to create a new sub called “AITA Schoolchildren” or something, because clearly parents aren’t going to keep their kids off Reddit, and we shouldn’t all have to suffer for it.
He may have meant “Enter Sandman” by Metallica, although I think that’s very early 90s.

How do you people think you hear music for the first time? It’s either modern, you hear it on a show or someone you know introduces it to you 99% of the time.

This is borderline unreadable. It seems like you’re asking whether you are allowed to say you love a song even if you haven’t professed your love for that song every moment of your life previously? Of course you aren’t. You’re NTA, and it’s bizarre to even use the word “asshole” in this scenario.
But you’re the dumbass for thinking “Mr. Sandman” is an 80s song. Maybe your classmates are doubting the sincerity of your love of 80s music for this reason? “Mr. Sandman” is about as far removed, musically, as one can get from 80s music. That’s why it was used in that scene in Back to the Future!
