Basically my lawnmower wasn’t working once so my neighbour allowed me to borrow it to cut my lawn.
The lawnmower has a large storage container for clippings and it was empty when I first started using it.
After I was done mowing my lawn, I tried to give it back to him as good as new so I filled it up and tried to empty the container of clippings. I couldn’t figure out how to do that without breaking it so I went to ask him for help but he was busy so I just put it back in the same place he stored it as usual and thought nothing much of it.
Since then, I have heard him start it up at least once (but possibly more I wasn’t paying attention) but he has just come over and told me that it no longer works properly and I’m to blame. It was working completely fine even after I was done using it and the only issue is the fact that the stored clippings could have affected the life of the engine.
Am I the Asshole?
