My neighbors have started to put a slow children at place sign in the road. This is on a busy corner within the neighborhood. It is in the middle of a lane so to avoid it you have to move into the lane for oncoming traffic. In addition, a child has just darted out before, running out randomly straight in front of my car while the parents and neighbors all congregated on the driveway. Luckily I was driving at 5mph to stop. The parents just smiled and waved.
Today I stopped and let them know it wasn’t ok to have the sign in the middle of a lane near a busy corner. The dad argued with me that it was for safety and the mom just laughed at me. I left.
I know this is illegal… but AITA?
