My dad texted me at work and said hes thinking of getting two more VR headsets for my brother(13) for Christmas. We haven’t had any in the house for over 2 years because the last ones broke after my brother did something to them. Idk what he did, my parents dont know what he did, and my brother doesn’t even know what he did. They just stopped working at some point and we didn’t replace them.
I miss playing beat saber on them but my brothers phone is a little old and it starting to slow down on him. The phone he has right now has been with him since quarantine and we got the headsets around the beginning of quarantine but ( and I can’t stress this enough) no one knows why they stopped working and my dad just threw the headsets out one day without telling anyone.
When I got home from work I asked my dad if my bro can have a new phone instead of some headsets but he said no without even looking at me so I just walked away. My bro’s phone takes a few seconds to open any app and the screen is cracked like crazy. AITA for asking? IDK if I’m worrying about something thats not a problem. Why wait until the phone doesn’t work at all to get a new one?
