26M and 24F I just need some advice, I found some explicit comments on my boyfriends X account and i don’t know if im over reacting. Just need an outsiders perspective.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 2 years and living together for one. A couple of days ago I snooped on his phone( he has a passcode on it but he gave it to me) anyway I came across his X account and saw he was commenting some things on some girls account.( most likely a bot and not a real actual person) I just don’t know how to feel, I would have never thought he would do something like this because he is so sweet and loving. I did confront him and he said he was just doing it for content and he didn’t mean anything by it. I don’t know why to believe, I just don’t understand what the point of that was if he wasn’t getting anything from it. There was no messages or anything just comments. My question is why do men do this? I’m not gonna lie and say I’m an angel because I def am not. ( I often watch porn) and k don’t think he knows but i would never comment on a guy’s picture like he did. I just don’t know what to think because we’ve been through so much together like a miscarriage like a year ago and he took care of me. I don’t want to throw it away for a simple mistake. I just need someone’s outsider opinion. Thanks in advance
