If it feels right, it feels right. We don’t need to make safe assumptions, unless girl is psycho, but I think most of the men will just go with the flow.
Men care more about the right person…. But being creatures of loyalty and provision the right person is often the one they currently see as their family… Not the best they think they can get for their commodity. So that could be interpreted as the right time… But that’s not how it feels to us.
When you take pride in what you can do for someone more than what type of person you can “pull”… The whole waiting for the right person kinda becomes irrelevant.
The right time usually means you have a plan like, I’m not gonna marry until I do that or that or I accomplish those goals or I’m at that age and so on and sometimes people use that as an excuse to not fully commit.
I don’t believe in right times so I would take the right person.
U just made a post about this Same topic. There is no consensus. And if there was it would be a hybrid of both.
Men =/= monolith. Speaking for me, right person.
The right person obviously.
Right time is when I and they are ready and prepared for a relationship.
The right person will get you through hard times and the wrong person will drag you into hard times.
OP, I’m getting the feeling your ex just got engaged.
I never heard any man speaking of such things.

I would say right person, as there isn’t always that perfect time.. but the right person can be just fine even at a time.. that isn’t quite perfect.
Right person.

There is no right person when the timing is wrong.
What makes you think that it has to be one or the other?
My ex-wife dumped me and split in January of 2021, then had my best friend move in with her. Ouch.
I met Grace six-months later, the right person at the right time.
