Men, what are some cute winter date outfits?

I (28 F) am trying out dating again after my 7 year relationship came to an end early this year. I have no clue what to wear to my blind date next week. It’ll be drinks at a bar in soho, London (wet and cold). Men, I’d SO appreciate it if you could let me know what winter fits you’ve found absolutely irresistible on women? Thanks in advance!! 🙂

    1. Hey… some of us men appreciate style and have style of our own. Don’t worry gents, I’m sticking up for all of us!

    2. Some men do dress really well! And also, if a guy who doesn’t pay attention to clothes actually notices what a woman is wearing, the outfit is probably *chef’s kiss* 😉

  1. Go full parka. If he doesn’t like you at your mashmellowiest, he doesn’t deserve your slinkiest.

  2. My wife looked the cutest in cold weather wearing a slim quilted jacket, scarf, skinny jeans with tall boots on. One of our friends called it her hallmark movie main character outfit.

Wear a beanie too if that suits for fancy.

  3. Hey 🙂 M30 who tries to put at least some thought into what he wears… I think most of the replies here kind of suck, so I’m going to try and give you an honest and maybe helpful answer!

I think you’re kind of approaching this wrong.
Don’t wear what you think your date would like, wear what makes you feel confident and that you think projects your identity well. If he’s a good match for you, he’ll like whatever it is you pick, if you pick it on those grounds. What we wear is an expression of identity, and there’s no point putting out a “false” identity.

To use an example offered in the replies here, some guys in the replies have suggested wearing something that shows a lot of skin. That’s not inherently a bad or good choice, but it depends on the energy you want to put out. If you want to project more forward sexuality, then yes perhaps go for that. If those aren’t the vibes you’re looking to put out, don’t. Decide one the vibe you want to give, and pick clothes that communicate that.

All that being said, a few smaller comments…

Soho is often a bit more of an upmarket vibe, so I’d probably want to match that at least to some extent.
It’d look weird to be dressed like you’re going to a grunge bar! (No hate on grunge bars, they’re just not Soho)

If you’re just trying to “LooksMax” think about your physique and how to dress to make the most out of that.

I think many girls frequently miss that most guys prefer “cute” to “sexy”, especially for something more romantic than sexual. Especially for guys about your/our age, his first crush was probably Hermione Granger, not some Bond girl!
