I’ve always thought that the best foods for weight gain were grilled chicken and rice, but apparently I was sorely mistaken. I know that peanut butter sandwiches are good for weight gain, as well as nuts and protein shakes, but that’s about it.

I’ve recently learned how to make Thai curries (using pastes) and it is quite easy. I’m no gourmand, trust me.
It costs me roughly $15-$20 per batch which gives me 5 large meals for the week that are extremely hearty. I pack it with mushrooms, bell peppers, broccoli, onions, and a whole rotisserie chicken.
Put that over rice and that’s great for weight gains. It is a little light on fat which I happily substitute with ice cream for dessert.
