Alcoholic? I’m worried

My boyfriend (36M) bought a 12 pack of beer on Sunday and finished it Friday. He said he just likes to unwind after work with a beer(s) but I’m worried it could turn into alcoholism. Maybe I’m overreacting. Thoughts?
