AITA for asking my roommates to clean up their thanksgiving dishes that are growing an entire ecosystem?

Hey reddit,

I (18f) came home from work to find dishes from several days ago piled on the counter, I will admit that yes, some of those dishes are mine. However, I have asked my roommates (18f and 18m) several times to just wash their dishes when they get done eating so there’s no way that it could be forgotten and nobody will listen.

I decided that I would just do them and get them out of the way, I then noticed a crockpot sitting behind the microwave….from thanksgiving. One would assume that it’s been cleaned, right? Wrong. I opened it to double check because I didn’t see anyone clean it and it was completely CONSUMED in mold. Like, there was probably an entire ecosystem growing in it, it was disgusting.

I then sent a snap of said ecosystem covered crockpot to my roommate group chat with the context “guys this is disgusting, we need to do dishes tonight” and I am awaiting response. Will update.

I also have a photo of the crockpot if anyone would like to see it.
