(Disclaimer, this is being written by a friend of the OP because the real OP would use a lot of French with no pardon)
AITA for wanting to evict my roommates. Me and my 3rd trimester pregnant wife have a 1 yo, a baby on the way; and 1 dog with puppies that are strictly outside because our landlord does not want animals in the house. Both of us are neuro-spicy, and I myself have chronic pain and unfortunately have the knees of a 70 yo.
One friend is not neuro-seasoned and does not have any disabilities or anything that could prevent them from getting a job. Their partner is in fact neuro-salt-pepper-and-slapyomomma and has POTS and non-epileptic seizures which I understand can make finding a job more difficult. Friends have 1 dog, 4 cats, and 1 ferret.
We both made it clear that they had to look for jobs, help with bills when able to, and that they would be in the babys room so they would need to be quiet when baby needs to sleep. I also sneaked all of their animals in even though that puts me and my family at risk for eviction. (Bad on my part)
It has been 3 weeks, both do not have jobs rendering them unable to help with bills, one of them has decided that before the baby can even fall asleep that it’s the perfect time to start sitting on their royal behind and play video games; then proceeding to complain when baby begins to cry.
If I do evict them then they both might go homeless, resulting in their animals running away or worse; and I don’t want to be the cause of anyone suffering. Especially if it’s putting an animals wellbeing in jeopardy. They also have been acting like they haven’t been doing anything wrong by failing to take responsibility for their actions and lack of contribution.
So AITA for wanting to evict my roommates, and should I?
