I have a service shop for various online-offline services and copying , and elderly man about 75 often comes in for document print and copy and other services but is very stingy person, and never pay full price like 50-70 % of the actual charges and also takes up my time , when i force him he just say i dont have full money and i also have a shop so i know actual charges and youre just overcharging and other shops charge half, i’ve enteretained his request and stinginess for few weeks but now it just gets on my nerves as i am losing my profits, recently i just refused to do copy of his book and just told him to go to those shops who do it in half the price, he got upset and told me i will not recommend your shop to other people since people ask him about shops
Clearly NTA
NTA…that is nuts…he should be paying your price or he is free to go somewhere else. Please…how many people do you think he will actually not refer?
he’s literally just stealing from you at this point so let him be some other shop’s problem
NTA
I do guess he will return because other shops are not doing it for half the price.
If he returns, demand payment before you start the work.
NTA lol. Don’t devalue your business for some random cheap man trying to bully you. He can have fun at his magic fictional shops he for some reason isn’t already visiting.
NTA but seriously get a backbone, why would you let any customer use a service without paying? As soon as he said he didn’t have the money his copies would have been in the bin.
Charge him for taking up time.
Good riddance
If he does it more than once he isn’t a customer he is a forced charity case
YTA because you have let him get away with not paying for your services and now you’re unhappy that he continues to exploit your unwillingness to put your foot down. You should have told him to go elsewhere the first time he refused to pay full price for the services he wanted. The next time he refuses to pay, tell him not to come back and refuse service.
NTA and not a single soul is asking for his recommendations.
NTA
You just learned what every successful business person knows.
Not every customer is valuable.
NTA. If other shops offered better prices than you do, he’d go there. Plus, his influence only extends to his inflated ego.
NTA, but stop being such an utter coward. Either he pays you your prices or he goes elsewhere.
do copy of his book
BOOK?
