I left a company recently and found out they are still sending emails from my old work email account as if they are me, signed with my name. They also still have me listed on their website as an active team member.
The emails encourage people to sign up for a program I no longer work on and do not endorse. I don’t have access to the email account anymore, so I can’t even shut this down myself. I have evidence this is still happening.
I’m angry about this and considering confronting them and/or warning people who may have been contacted “by me” that it wasn’t actually me.
AITA for feeling this crossed a line and wanting to call it out?
