AITAH So the other night me and my buddy got drunk, and I did something I now deeply regret I FaceTimed a girl from one of my college classes on Snapchat someone Ive never talk to and told her right away that I was drunk, showed that I was with my buddy and, made a dumb joke/flirty comment about her “look at this dime piece,” and then asked/begged her for a ride even though we weren’t even in the same town. How badly did I actually screw up? She stayed quiet throughout the whole thing had her handover, her mouth just staring at us over the phone.
YTA, and you know it:
\- Unsolicited call to an acquaintance,
\- Drunk as a skunk,
\- Unnecessary remark about her looks like this is some terrible 1920s speakeasy,
\- The sheer audacity of expecting her to drive several hours to experience this all in person, plus or minus vomit.

But she didn’t end the conversation probably not right away at least from the sound of it. Hell I’d try again sober apologizing to her and ask if I could try again like a gentleman. If you’re actually into her that is. I used to drink and I know I hooked up with some women I only wanted because of the booze. And ended up with some regrets and a son.
Being drunk doesn’t cancel out being an asshole. It just means you’re an asshole who may also have a drinking problem.
