AITA For running behind excellence and becoming more successful? While leaving people and friends behind.

Turning 29 this year, switched 4 jobs and got a better role at a good salary of some of us average people can get in their career. Lost all of the friends from college, school and never made friends in the neighborhood (because toxic people live around me and good neighbors have left this place).

I do not know where am I headed and only random people over the internet are the ones I socialise with. I do not know if I am the problem or the people around me are not ambitious enough?

  1. Definitely not the asshole, it’s all of those poors who are the problem and not you. It’s actually kind of concerning you’re having doubts like this- you should probably cut off your Meemaw and Peepaw next because I’m sure they’re not contributing to your grindset.

    1. Changing jobs 4 times in a year is a dead giveaway. YTA, a counselor can help you understand the delusions you’re transferring onto all the peeps around you and figure out if you also need meds to accomplish this.

  2. Content creator live on TicTok? People are disposable that’s the world we live in.
FWIW random people on the internet isn’t socializing imho. You are trying to get gifts and likes. You have no time or need for real people. There must have been people who actually cared about you but that didn’t scratch that itch. Someone must have groomed you very carefully and filled your head with ridiculous ideas of getting rich as a content creator. There’s only a handful and those aren’t really sustainable.

  3. Without ever seeing or hearing you, but only reading 3 sentences, I already dislike you.

You are the problem. It seems like narcissism oozes out of your pores. YTA.

Why didn’t you specify your salary? C’mon you know you want to!
