AITA for reminding my friend that she slept with more than one person?

A friend of mine recently met this new guy and he’s pretty conservative. Ever since then she’s adopted a lot of conservative talking points and has become obsessed with purity and innocence. She posted on her social media story the other day that anyone who sleeps with multiple people is a sl*t and should be ashamed of themselves. I replied telling her I’m surprised she’s saying this because she’s told me about having sex with a few other guys before. She’s even teased me for being a virgin. She got really upset and then said I remembered wrong and then went on a rant about how I’m trying to throw her past into her face. AITA for asking her this?

Edit
I didn’t call her out publicly. My reply was through a private message.

  1. NTA. How do you go from remembering incorrectly to suddenly throwing her past that apparently never happened in her face?

    1. Totally. She loses her girl code privileges when she enjoys sex but then shames women for enjoying it, just like she used to do. She’s a liar. How very conservative/Christian of her.

  2. OMG, do these “body count” misogynists exist in the real world? I thought it was just jerks for click money. Yikes!

  3. NTA. If she decided to be “born again” to “reset” her virginity counter for herself thats fine. Hell, she could even advocate for that for others. Just lying about it and being the most publicly hypocritical she can possibly be about it deserves a little public call out.

  4. How are you wrong for “throwing her past in her face”? That’s literally what she’s doing to other people? Ma’am, you wanna be so conservative,  Jesus said to remove the log in your eye before talking about the speck in someone else’s. I’m sure she clearly expressed that she had sex with these other people. How could you get that confused? And, as a person,  you have nothing better to do than worry about other people’s sex life? There’s plenty of widows and orphans that need help. NTA

  5. NTA

She is willing to judge others, but not be judged by her own standards? Get the fuck outta here with that hypocritical nonsense.

  6. 100% NTA

She posts her declaration on a very public forum and then contradicts herself in her own response… first you’re not remembering accurately, then you’re using her past against her.

These types of people are absolutely insufferable.

They are the epitome of the “Rules for thee but not for me!” crowd.
