How to make a hook up bit awkward the first time?

ETA: we have mutuals and have seen each other in person just not interacted face to face before.

Me and this guy have plans to hook up tonight. It’s literally just a hook up as we want type of thing we’re looking for. No strings attached. Not interested in anything more. We know of each other and have texted but never actually spoke in person. I have a hard time not being awkward when I first meet someone. What do I do to not be awkward when I first get there? What do I say/do/talk about??

  1. Everything about what you’re doing is awkward to some degree.

How about you guys Facetime before, get some nerves out of the way.

    I mean, this sounds dangerous.

You’re going to fuck a guy you have never even met in person?

How did this scenario even begin?

  2. Just be yourself and chat about regular things, ask how his day is going, stuff like that. Since you want it to be NSA just don’t dive deep into anything.

  3. When you guys meet just say, “I’ve been feeling really nervous to meet you in person. Sorry if I seem a bit awkward.“ He won’t care what goofy shit you say or so after that. Also break the physical barrier immediately with a good hug. You know the kind of hug I mean. Or by touching his elbow, forearm or holding his hand. That will help him relax as well.

Do this and there’s no chance that he will think your weird behavior means that you no longer want to hook up.

  4. If this is what you want, why will it be awkward?

You’re a woman. All you need to do is just be nice and just be yourself. Look pretty and be open to whatever happens.

  5. Tell them they look good, even if it’s a bit of a lie hahahaha.. Just give them some affirmation and hope they reciprocate.

  6. how did you go from barely talking to lets meet privately and do it? First times are always awkward have fun tho!

  7. That’s normal. It’s usually awkward after the first time with someone new. Relax as much as you can. If it remains awkward reschedule.
