A cousin invited me to go to a WWE wrestling show. We will call him Thomas. I said no thanks im not much of a wrestling fan. That same day, another cousin we will call Hank also reached out to me and said Thomas reached out to him and also invited him to the WWE show. Hank is a big fan and watches regularly. Also lives next door he is my neighbor. He knows im not a fan of wrestling but asked anyway if i could join him and Thomas to the Wrestling. I gave in and said Ok. we will go. for we could all go together the 3 of us plus more people potentialy. the Next day i contact him to puchase the tickets. Thomas tells me that he already has his ticket with a group of friends. And Hank and I should buy our own. Annoyed but whatever. i ask him what section to be seated close if possible. Hank picks the seats. i buy Hank and I some ticket a few sections over i couldnt get any closer. i text thomas a pic of the tickets. were on. $150 each. Thomas texts me on a Thursday strangly to me. And ask me about the transportation situation if he would drive to our home and we would leave in my car or Hank and I just meet at his home and leave in his car. I tell him that i physical see Hank tomorrow to ask him and not to worry about it. A week goes by and its now Friday Morning. i Call Thomas at 10am. Informing him im getting my haircut around 4pm and ask how he wants to handle the Transportation . Thomas ask "what transportation? for what?" I tell him for the WWE show Tonight. i ask him how are we gonna do it? Thomas tells me the Show was last Friday and Hank and I missed it! it was lit he said. im shocked and confused. what? how? and then i ask Thomas why didnt he contact us??? Thomas replies "thats on yall lol " i end the call. and call Hank. before i could say a word Hank tells me hes getting his haircut at the moment and i should call Thomas for the transportation situation. i tell Hank we missed the show last friday. Hank ask did Thomas go? i say yes. then he ask Why did Thomas not contact us The day of the show? or this whole week? i had to find out from Thomas that we missed on a friday the show a full week later. Im kinda mad at this point and ask Hank why didnt you say anything about the show? Hank Tells me He does not have the channel SmackDown is on. so he does not know what days its on. he only watches Raw because its on Netflix.
i know im stupid for buying tickets and not knowing the date. i accept that. but is Thomas an A Hole for not reaching out Day of, at the event? during halftime to ask if we made it to the event. ask to grab a beer or something, nothing. the dude said nothing. my own cousin. or day after or week after to call and ask why we did not attend. is Thomas an A Hole??????

Why does Thomas need to confirm the date with them? They bought their own tickets. They should have known the date. Thomas tried to reach out about transportation the day before and OP blew him off.
Now it is odd that Thomas didn’t reach out to them asking to meet up/if they were there/etc…but in no way does that make him responsible for OP and Hank’s failing to know the date of the event they bought tickets to.
