When me my mom her boyfriend and my grandma where at a restaurant 2 days ago she and her boyfriend made a joke about sending me to Miltary school. I said the joke wasn’t funny and she told me to lighten up. Then after her boyfriend explained why it was funny to them. After that I said can they please not make it in the future. That’s when my mom told me I can lighten up and suck it up or leave I choose to leave. When we got home my mom yelled at me about how she’s sick of my supposed attitude and how I had to storm out like a baby. She’s said they apologized for the joke but that is just an outright lie since I never heard sorry from either of them. They do this quite alot where they jokes about me like the miltary joke and when I say the jokes aren’t funny they’ll say im having an attitude or to just lighten up. My dad is also saying it was my fault. I think I may be the A hole because maybe I ruined the dinner when my grandma was there which doesn’t happen much. Was i acting like a baby should I have just sucked it up? And aita?
