Okay I’m just gonna get into it because I’m still a little surprised at how much backlash I’ve received about this.
Im a 13m and my little brother is 6. I was sitting around the thanksgiving table and we were eating all the normal foods you would have at a thanksgiving table, when my dad plops down a steak in front of my little brother.
To add a little context I’ve always hated thanksgiving food. I just don’t like it. My little brother hates meat with a burning passion. Everyone knew this. In general I don’t eat a lot of unhealthy food especially if I don’t like it so I really thought it would be fine If we switched.
Heres where i may be the ahole. I told him basically what I said here and that we should switch. He decided he was just going to throw it out. I was confused that no one stopped him or thought that giving a 6 year old a full steak might not be the best idea so I decided too just go downstairs and play guitar instead of eating.
They later got angry at me and said I was making the night all about me. Am I the asshole?
Way to much missing info. Why did they give brother the steak? Why would you switch when you parents are the ones that gave him said steak?
