I get out of the store to head for home, there is short narrow path leading to the main path, I sigh because I dont really want to go home, any way a guy on the other side of the short narrow path sees me sigh, stops, and gestures with his hand, beckoning me to use the path, while he will wait, like saying "right this way your majesty". I dont know this guy, I dont know what hes about, so I take the path I go on my way, I get to the end, he says "is that satisfactory?!" . At this point im annoyed so I go along "yes very satisfactory!" then I take the change left over from the money I spent at the store and give him 50 cents, turn to leave. He throws it back at my head.

As for him… yes, his behavior was odd, perhaps even rude, but he also might have just been trying to lighten the mood. Couldn’t really judge him until he threw the change back at you.
Yeah, this reads like two people having crummy days who don’t know how to not take them out on other people.

This is what my husband and I call a dumbass meets a dumbass. You could have diffused the situation by saying, oh sorry…I was sighing about something else. There. It would not have escalated.

Why would you be upset to go home from the store? Why would your sigh be about him? Why was him letting you use the path annoying? Why would he say that? Why would you “tip” him? Why would he throw the money at your head?
I have no context for any of this. It sounds like a strange British comedy routine. I can make no judgement—you’re both very odd.
