So for context i bought a cheap ass drone and it barely works, like i mean barely, a little wind can drag it 300 km away and the wind resistant button did nothing but hey i mean 40 bucks is 40 bucks and when the mother came she mumbled something about some "langsung tak boleh cakap maaf ke?" which means u cant even say sorry? i was like huh? and she didnt care but the glare she gave me did all the talking and i am chinese i cant really understand malay if its more of a fluent speaker. I just left because i didnt want any trouble.
I’m assuming this was in public.
You and the kid had equal rights to be there but your toy smacked the kid, you didn’t bother to apologise and since you were in public it is your responsibility not to hit people with your toys. Maybe stop trying to play with aerodynamic toys in high wind (and by that I mean winds strong enough to mess with your toy) in public next time
YTA
YTA if you are flying a drone, it is your responsibility to make sure it cannot hit anyone or anything. Kids will be interested when they see them, don’t fly it if people are around
Don’t take toys that can injure people into public spaces if you won’t control them properly.
YTA
YTA. You’re the pilot, it’s your job to make sure your drone isn’t flying if there’s people around who can get hurt. The moment the kid started getting close you should’ve shut it down and moved away
ESH. Your toy is your responsibility while her kid is the mother’s. You know you can’t control the drone in strong wind since it is cheap. Playing with it when people are around makes it your fault. The mother should have taken her kid away to prevent your toy from hitting her kid.
YTA, do not fly a drone in public that is not safe. You have the responsibility to not fly when you might injure people. If someone is too close it means you are in the wrong for flying at a time in which they can get too close.
If it might become an uncontrolled projectile in wind you should only fly it in locations in which it cannot hit people.
YTA. Drone safety is 100% on you in public. Quality of the drone is you making excuses. If it’s not safe, don’t use it in a public space.
YTA. Obviously. I would defend the right of anybody to stamp on somebody’s drone if it was being used with such tomfuckery.
YTA – wtf it’s your job to control your creeper technology and whatever shit you have.
Learn some basic human decency
YTA.
You’re TA for having me read this nonsense. You’re TA for flying a drone you can barely control into a public area
YTA you are not supposed to drive it close to people.
If a little wind can so easily drag it long distances, there is not really any “safe distance” from it outside of which the kid could have stayed. YTA.

If you’re not in control of your stuff, who is?
