Rezume Prostate Procedure.
Wondering if there are any men out there who have had the Rezume Prostate Procedure for an enlarged prostate?
How long ago did you have the procedure? Was it a success? Do you have or do you expect to have any side effects?
I was told it has no side effects and the procedure doesn’t ever need to be redone. The other options (procedures) available have side effects and may need to be redone in 5 to 10 yrs.
Curious to hear about your experience and was it worthwhile.
If a doctor tells you that ANY procedure has no side effects, you need to find a different doctor.
The Dr did mention it but all the research I’ve read so far backs that up.

Yes I read those before chose the procedure, but most of these happened a few weeks after the procedure. They are gone now. At least they did for me. I’m looking for anyone who has actually had long term effects. Usually 4 to 5 months out.
This is very interesting. I have been just diagnosed with a enlarged prostate and a slightly elevated PSA.
I had the procedure 2 weeks ago. Catheter is gone now. I had my choice of 3 different procedures and chose Resume mainly because the others had published side effects and needed a redo in 5 to 10 yrs.
I’m pleased with the result but curious is there is any truth about no side effects.

I’m not to that point to have this procedure yet. I had a MRI earlier this year after a couple of years with a slightly elevated PSA results. They found I have a small mass on my prostate. Had a biopsy no cancer was detected. So for right now I’m at the wait and see.

Alarm bells ringing REAL loud here. Never had it but like, that’d make it a freak anomaly among medical procedures.

I had a PAE 6 months ago. At 3 months my prostate had shrunk from 88cc to 55cc. No catheter. They go through your wrist to access and seal off the main 2 arteries to the prostate. Very happy with the outcome.

And blast the prostate with high temp steam. It kills the outer cells so it slowly shrinks over a 6 or 8 week period. A 15 min procedure and you’re walking out after 4 hrs. Good luck, hope it all works out for you.
What’s the consequences if you don’t do it? Like, does it hits the g-spot easier and make your orgasm easily? Does it make you precum easier?
