This is very embarassing to admit, and I promise I’m not a neckbeard. I’m 23, 6 foot, been going to the gym for a few years now and am in a high stress role which gives me very little time to date.
I’m the typical Reddit guy, a nerdy introvert who downloaded Tinder, Bumble and Hinge and got 0 matches and swipes probably because I terrible pics and have had very little experience with women because I was also skinny and didn’t play sports growing up, which was a blow to my self-confidence from 18-22.
A pal of mine told me he uses a VR headset for a videogame called Beat Saber as a workout tool so I decided to buy one this year, and stumbled upon to VR-porn and holy shit my mind is blown with how realistic this is.
Long story short, having to put 0 effort in and focussing on making myself happy has made me completely content and forget about my dating struggles and trying to be the jester to win the approval of women who don’t care about me in dates. What’s the point? I’d rather spend all the time and effort getting more money than wasting it on dinner dates and coffees that cost £50 a night every weekend and hating every minute of it.

The thing about dating is that it’s a skill. Not just socializing, but also figuring out what type of person you want to date and being able to find and connect with them. The more you do it, the easier it gets. The less you do it, the harder it’ll be.
So the more you look at VR porn, the less you talk to women, the harder it’ll be to eventually date when the high/novelty wears out for you.
