I was sitting at a slot machine in the smoking section, this lady came by a little while after and sat down next to me, she automatically started waving her hands like she was trying to push the smoke away from her, I ignored her and kept playing, eventually she turned to me and asked me to put my cigarette out, I told her that I was here before her and even if I wasn’t, she chose to sit in the smoking section, she got all huffy and puffy and called me a bitch, I ignored her and went back to playing.

I get people can’t smoke in most places anymore (probably for the best tbh), but one cannot insert themselves into a remaining area where people are allowed to smoke, and then complain that people are smoking. The absolute nerve of some people. Yeesh.
I have no idea where OP is at. But I was a little kid the last time a restaurant said something like “It’s a 20 minute wait in the non-smoking section. We have spots available in the smoking section.” Things I barely remember, and for the better. Any smoking section nowadays is an invitation to hang out with smokers.
