I F17 and my childhood friend also F16 share a dorm room with one more girl. My friend, lets call her Emily, recently broke up with her boyfriend because he just didnt see a future with her. Two days later Emily found a new one (which is strange and in my opinion quite fast) i didnt comment on it directly.Two weeks ago when we arrived into our room she told me “hey, im gonna call with my boyfriend if you dont mind” I told her “sure, i dont see a problem with that.” I plugged in my earphones and minded my own business for about 40 minutes before i took them off and started to charge my phone.
Just then i hear “oh i caaaant, my roomates here.” Or “woow that must be atleast 16 cm. (Thats like 6 inches?)” Some “pick me” giggles and she made many comments on how hard he is and how she wanted it in her. I was visibely discousted and weirded out so i texted her “hey, could you tone it down a little? Im gonna go to sleep.” No responce and she didnt even quiet down. finally around midnight they ended the call.They ended up calling for 4 hours and like 40 minutes (she posted it on her ig story.) I shit you not, she calls with him everyday for this amount of time and each time she ignores me saying to calm down or have these conversation when im not in the room.
The next day when we were on our way to the bus station i said to her something in the lines of “hey, about yesterday. Could you tone it down a little? Or dont call him so late into the night?” She got defensive and started to raise her voice at me complaining how i facetime with my sister. I called with my sis only about two times these past three months, i sometimes listen to her voicemessages out loud, but its nothing personal. “But me calling with my sister isnt like you and that boyfriend of yours. We talk about normal stuff and dont do anything nasty, unlike you two.” I said that in slight frustration. “You are just jelaus , because you cant find a boyfriend and suck at talking with new people.” She then proceeded to tell me. I do have problems with meeting new people and she knows that, i have talked about it with her before. I didnt say anything to that, i was too speachless and put on my earphones and walked away from her.
This behavior doesent change and every time i call her out for it, she gets very defensive and say stuff like. “You will never have what i have, you are just jelaus of us, you cant even talk to a boy.” Am the asshole for confronting her?
