I (M16) found my sister’s Twitch channel about a month ago while I was sweeping online breaches for information connected to my home’s IP address. During this I found online accounts from my older sister (F24) she used when she lived here about 8 years ago. Currently she lives in LA alongside her mom’s side of the family (she’s my step sister)
I used the information from these accounts to find her current social media, through that I found a Twitch account she currently uses. Fast forward 2 days ago, I saw her first stream. Turns out she’s a relatively small streamer, with about 2-3 people in her chat max. She mainly plays the GTA with her friends. I tagged along for about 20 minutes before I got bored and left. Today she was streaming again and this time she was celebrating her friend’s birthday.
Well my insensitive ass got an intrusive thought and said "<insert my mom’s legal name> madddd"
Zero context.
She saw the comment about a minute later and freaked out. I cared but was too shy to admit it was me, her brother and decided to dip before I felt worse. I don’t have her phone number and I don’t want to tell my mom what I did because then it’ll be awkward.
Yeah now that I’ve finished this I feel like an asshole. But it feels too awkward to go tell my mom what I did.
Edit: Found my sisters phone number through another one of my shenanigans, apologized.
