Hey 26 M
Just need advice from fellow men, for the last couple of months i’ve been sleeping 5 hours daily ( even if i have 8 hours window i just sleep 5 for some reason ) , and generally been tired all the time. Got fatter, more anxious and just exhausted.
Need your advice, cuz its taking a toll on me
You should see a doctor to help rule out any medical issues that could potentially be causing this
Limit the drinking, stop wanking off, and start exercising.
stop coffee too
Diet is probably a huge part of it. Cut out any energy drinks and other bad things you may consume. I break my good streak often but when I man up, cut out the caffeine, and just eat primarily salads, I feel a lot better.
Get yourself checked, vitamin deficiency, low testosterone, depression and other issues could be causing this; also have a more active lifestyle, hit the gym often, it will help a lot.
More exercise, limit caffeine and look into going to a sleep clinic as you may have sleep apnea.
Do you have a routine? Do you sleep at fixed times? What are your activities just before going to sleep? Is the 5 hour sleep in the beginning of the 8 hour Window or at the end?
Do you drink or eat a lot just before going to sleep?
Do you have stress that you know about? Increased cortisol levels could affect sleep.
How much caffeine are you consuming? Do you drink a lot of soft drinks or energy drinks, especially in the middle of the day?
This might be contributing to your tired feeling.
Abstaining from alcohol helped my sleep.
You could have sleep apnea, a friend was diagnosed recently. Do a sleep check. Also could be missing some vitamins, so blood work could be ideal. Moreover, excercise. If you are a person with 0 excercise, and overweight that may contribute to it. ++man
Lots of possibilities. Too many to list given the little information.
Go and see a doctor, I am a bit older than you, but at 67, I am having the same problem and the VA diagnose me as having “Long term COVID”, yes I had a bad Covid in 2021. I am always tried and body aches during the day, but can’t take naps, up every morning at 4:30-5:30 no matter when I go to sleep. I will start a new physical routine in Jan. I have been told that I need to workout, walk, bike ride, or whatever and then rest the next day and repeat, but if tired, rest 2 days. No more of the logic, “no pain, no gain” . Please go see a doctor
Contributing factors for tiredness are stress, exercise, diet or potential medical issues.
If you’re worried ask a doctor. If you dont exercise, start with going for a walk, see about getting into small easy routines with minimal to no equipment.
If you’re stressed still go for a walk outdoors for some reason does help. Following on from stress, find the source, is it work, personal? Whatever it is look online to aee what support you can get, friends and family if possible. Could jusy need a real talk about things, if theres someone whos happy to just hear you out.
Diet. Do you just eat whatever, regardless of what it is maybe have takeout often? see what your eating could it be healthier? If so make small changes to it and
And unsurprisingly sleep! You’ve said you’re sleeping 5 hours regardless experiment around a little, white noise, music in background playing low.
Doctor is best to consult first though
Stop being lazy. Exercise
