So i have this one best friend we can call her D which I have been friends with for about ten years. Recently in the last two years me and D have gotten close to A and L. All of them now are my best friends. My friendship has always been rocky with D. A few years back we were always fighting and I personally think that most of those fights were for attention. Once she turned around a whole people against me for no reason. When we are in a group fight D always blames me for whatever it is. She likes to downplay me and recently she has been kind of replacing me. I mean it’s fine if she gets new friends, thats not the problem. But mostly what I don’t like that she isn’t being true with me. She keeps a lot of secrets from me. Most of the thing are about normal things we used to talk about or so I have heard. Like a year ago I got really close with L and we talked a lot. I still talked to D and A but at the moment a little more with A. I still told everybody my secrets, the little things that I want them to know. She was mad about it and i apologised for that and promised to be a better friend. Now i talk with A a lot and L a lot since we all have gotten even closer same with D. Since D has started to talk to that person more I think I don’t hear any secrets or the little things. I feel like she wants us to drift apart. I have always not had a lot of friends so i deeply cherish our friendship and I always try to look past everything she has done but lately I think it has gotten out of hand. Recently I talked with A because L is on a holiday and she agreed with me that she has noticed that D has been distant. So AITA or not.
