TLDR I was randomly assigned a lab partner who showed up 40 minutes late to the lab, completely unprepared. She didn’t do or read through the pre-lab, which shows you how to do the lab, and didn’t bother listening to the prof explaining the steps of the lab, causing her to make mistakes and making us start over again multiple times. The last straw was when she picked up a tube and accidentally dropped it, which caused acid to get everywhere and on everything, including my clothes. I went home and washed my clothes, and they came out of the wash with holes everywhere. AITA for asking her to cover the full cost of the sweatpants?
