It is my birthday, originally my fiancée was supposed to be working so I signed up for a Magic card tournament, 4 rounds and about 4 hours. She had a rough day the day before and called in sick for my birthday. Night before and before I went I asked if she wanted I could stay and we could just hang out. She said to go and she was starting to have a nap. I said I would probably do 3 rounds so be back around 1 or 2. I ended up having fun and texted around 1:50 asking if she wanted to go Christmas shopping or if I could do 1 more round (we only live 10 minutes from the shop). Message wasn’t replied to or marked as viewed so I figured she had fallen back asleep. I got home at 3:10 and getting the cold shoulder.
NTA. She didn’t reply. I think she wanted you to take care of her more likely. She’s being a drama queen. Did she do ANYTHING for your birthday? The day isn’t about her.
We did a dinner a couple of days ago because she was supposed to be working on my birthday and she got me a present I had wanted and had a nice cake made for me.
