AITA for getting upset at my bf sexual joke.

For context I’m Latina and my bf is Indian. I’m traveling to my home country for the holidays but im staying at my cousin. She doesn’t have an extra bed or couch for me so I usually sleep with her. At home I sleep top less obviously my bf knows that. We were face timing as he is currently in India. And after a bit of a sexual reference of us, he jumped at saying "imagine she goes down on you" and whatever happens after. He had insinuated something about me sleeping topless before and staying with and I told him to stop we both sleep in pajamas. But this time he went further. He thinks I shouldn’t be upset and that is perfectly normal to joke like this amongst couples. But I find it sick, discussing, disturbing, etc. He just cant see why.

  1. NTA I’m struggling to see the joke. Jokes are funny, or clever, or have some kind of punch line. This was just making a gross sexual comment and then saying it was a joke so he didn’t have to own up to it.

  2. EWWW!! NTA

That’s disgusting that he would even joke like that. Just…no. If he doesn’t stop, you need to draw a hard line in the sand and set boundaries not just for the relationship, but for yourself. This is a hard one for me. It’s giving off fetish vibes from him.

  3. NTA. Whatever one thinks of his unfunny “joke,” it’s ugly of him to push the point and deny the validity of your response.

  4. NTA. It’s not at all “perfectly normal” to joke about your gf engaging in incest. This is not the guy to waste your time on.

  5. NTA. Just because someone intended a comment as a “joke” it doesn’t mean you aren’t allowed to be bothered by his comment.

Also you spelled EX boyfriend wrong….

  6. NTA.

Does he realize that scenarios in porn don’t actually happen in real life? Or, rarely do.

You went home to visit family, sleeping in bed with a family member and first thing he does is sexualize it? Ick. No thank you.

He’s being creepy as hell. And immature. If you tell him you don’t like something like that, it’s end of story. He needs to shut up. Gross.

  8. This is insta-breakup language in my opinion. NTA. I’m a dude (a pretty pervy one at that) and even that’s pretty out of line to tell a gf. And gross TBH. Not married? Call it off and move on.
