AITA for stealing my neighbors wifi signal even tho they left it open on purpose to flex?

Edit1: for those who thinks its BS. if you dont know how to use a wisp bridge to clone a mac address thats on you its not that deep. hes one of those tech bros who hinks hes a genius for setting a speed cap but doesnt even know how to hide his own device hardware info.

well he is one of those tech bros , who thinks theyre a genius. lately hes been bragging to everyone in the building about his new high -speed setup and how "generous" he is for leaving a guest network open for the less fortunate. the catch is, he uses the guest network to throttle peoples speeds to basically dial up lefvels just so he can see whos connecting and then make fun of them in the groupo chat for being poor. im a contractor for some big tech firms and i actually know how to handle a network. i noticed his "guest" net was poorly conf. and i found a way to bridge it to get my actual work done when my primary isp went down last week. he found out and now he lost his mind he says im stealing his bandwidth and violating his privacy roflmao.

  1. NTA – I mean, he basically left the door open for everyone to come in and make themselves at home. He was being “generous”, so thank him profusely

  2. You found a way to bridge it to what? That sentence doesn’t even make sense. Were you somehow able to access his main router and change the settings or something?
