Going to try to make this quick: Friday night me and my friend went out to the bar and I had two dirty Shirley’s and she had some random cocktail. I have no idea what happened after that. Genuinely no memory.
Next thing I know, I’m home, in my bathtub, water running, and floor flooded. There is vomit all over the bath mat and the floor looks like the Atlantic Ocean. I was terrified as I started to realize what had happened. I mean obviously I had no memory but I did know I was drunk and now I’m in the bathtub.
I get out and put a towel on, walk to my room. it’s 5 am, and my friend is sleeping in my bed in pajamas. I wake her up and ask WTF happened and she tells me this:
We left the bar because she realized I drank too much, but she was also tired and wanted to go home (it was 11pm) I was running in the streets just sort of being crazy, and I wouldn’t get in a cab. Then she said when we got home I was violently throwing up so she put me in the bath and apparently she was tired so she just left me in there.
Then she proceeds to show me a bunch of videos. She recorded EVERYTHING. In the videos, she is screaming at me saying awful things. Says she hates me, I’m worthless, she’s done being my friend, and I’m crazy. Then she shows a video of me in the tub when we got home. She filmed me in the tub with no clothes on and vomiting. All the other videos are her cursing me out and I’m crying saying please don’t yell at me and she continued to. and she was laughing while showing me these videos saying it’s so funny and she basically didn’t mean anything. She was just frustrated.
I then started to realize that she should’ve never let me stay in the bathtub blackout drunk. I could’ve either choked on my vomit or drowned in my sleep. I told her this wasn’t ok. She says it’s all my fault.
Am I seriously wrong for this????

If you only had two drinks and this was the result … you were likely drugged.
That being said, this person is not your friend. So… there’s that.
I was drugged and acted this way after a drink and a half. That’s where I’m leaning too, unless they actually had more than 2. NTA op
Two dirty Shirley shouldn’t get you that intoxicated even if you have a low tolerance. You were drugged. From the title I thought you were the one saying mean things, but she was. And she recorded you naked and vomiting without consent. If she keeps or shares these it could be a crime.
NTA, never go out with her again or to that bar. Keep your drink covered and by your hand at all times.

NTA. She’s a horrible friend. A true friend would protect you if you were intoxicated, let alone drugged. Even if they’re are tired or it spoils their fun, a friend will stop and protect you. She failed here many times over. She verbally attacks you when you aren’t in your right mind, records you in that vulnerable state, and then leaves you in a bath filled with water where you could have drowned. This is barely better than outright abandoning you. Nope nope nope. Make her delete those videos and drop her asap

Heavy NTA. From the sounds of it you were probably roofied. No one should be that level of drunk from 2 drinks, and even if you were no excuse for your ‘friend’ to leave you in a vulnerable position like that. Putting aside the filming without consent, verbal abuse and name calling (which is also terrible behaviour from her) just her leaving you in a bath tub where you could have fallen asleep and drowned is friendship ending stuff. If I were you I would drop this person immediately & find some real friends who will look after you in future. All the best, and maybe worth contacting the bar to see if they have cctv footage in case you were spiked 👍🏼
I’m so very sorry this happened to you. It seems very likely that one of your dirty Shirley drinkss contained Rufies. It’s been less that 48 hours; it’s possible it could still show up in your blood. I think you’d be wise to get yourself to the closest urgent care and get yourself a blood test. Then I think you’d be wise to get to the local police, tell them that you think you were Rufied and try to get to a detective who specializes in SA as opposed to the person at the front desk. Describe everything that happened to you, particularly your friend videotaping you naked and unable to consent or protect yourself, which is likely a crime. The detective may well be able to access CCTV in the bar, if any, to see if they can observe someone fooling with your drink.
What happened to you is completely unacceptable. It was cruel. It was criminal. And it wasn’t even 1% your fault.
I think it’s time to stop seeing your friend as a person you want in your life ever again under any circumstances. She has shown you who she is, fully revealing her character. What she did to you is disgusting. If you have the opportunity, file charges. What she did is so truly evil that no one should look the other way.
You might also want to talk with a victim’s advocate or a therapist who can help you process your experience. Again, I’m so sorry you went through this. NTA

Boy oh boy, that kind of throwing up is RELENTLESS! But yeah, you should not have blacked out like that from two drinks. And then puking like that… that sounds like you were roofied.
Sure, you were being annoying and drunk. But you were actually in danger. It doesn’t sound like she was roofied too, or else she’d be puking too.
She should definitely NOT have left you in the bathtub. You needed to be tended to. I know it’s hard… but you should have at least been laid on your side on the bathroom floor.
You are NTA, and this person needs to be confronted. The videoing, laughing, and yelling at you while so incapacitated…. All red flags.
