AITA for telling my roommate she couldn’t stay in my room anymore?

I (16 y/o at the time) got a roommate Melissa (19 y/o at the time). She was renting a room in my family home for $80 a week since she was homeless and my mom felt sorry for her. She was allowed to eat out food and not help with groceries, use our soap to an extent until she can get the money to buy her own, and use her own makeup, etc. I told Melissa she could sleep in my room with me and my friend until she get her room situated. She did so and asked me if I could wake her up for work the next morning, no problem. But then, this became a routine and it stayed like this for 2 weeks, yes every night she slept in my bed. The only time she didn’t is when I had friends over or my boyfriend was staying the night.She refused to get her room situated, just so she could stay in MY room. This started to piss me off well ya know, I have life. But this wasn’t the only issue. I also noticed how she would use my haircare and clothes without asking. AND whilst using my stuff, she never cleaned up her mess. And when asked to clean, she would get pissed off and say she would do it but never ended up actually doing what was asked of her.

I should’ve mentioned before that she did get fired from her job on week 2 of staying at our house. This clearly pissed my mom off but Melissa promised my mom she had a check coming in and would pay her. Anywho, she also took it upon herself to use my shampoo and conditioner without asking. But here’s the kicker of it all, on thanksgiving break I left for 5 days to go with extended family. My room was relatively messy, just with clothes when I left. I specifically told her I didn’t want her in my room when I wasn’t there. When I came back from my vacation, my room was a disaster! I mean soda cans everywhere, plates, bowls, empty bags of chips. AND MY FUCKING PILLOWS WERE GONE! When asked about it, she gave me the excuse of “well I lost the pillows. So what? Buy new ones.” So I did what any teen would do and I told my mom. My mom brushed it off and helped me find 3 of them. Still wasnt able find the 4th. Anyways, later that day I told her she has to help me clean my room. She said okay but she was gonna take a nap first and told me to wake her up in 2 hours. Well when I did that she told me no multiple times and would not get up. So I cleaned my room, moved all of her shit out of there. Trust me, she was not happy. I then told her she needed to get her room situated and wouldn’t be allowed in my room any longer. But two days after I told her that, I came home from school early. She was in my clothes and wearing my makeup. I flipped out on her and told her to take them off and she needed to go to her room. So she did, although she never did stop using my products such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Fast forward 5 years (now) and she ended up getting kicked out about 2 months later due to staying unemployed and not paying my mom.
