AITA, Me and my boyfriend F22 M33 have been having arguments recently. Am I being too harsh on him?

His nose whistles. A lot. Especially at night and in trying to sleep but I can’t. I’ve told him to go doctors as I know whistling in nose can be a sign nose septum might have a hole in. He keeps saying no and to get over it. Im not sleeping well due to this and work in a physical job. Im exhausted all the time. Should I let it go?

  1. NTA, sleep is important. (But also, try to arrange for better ventilation, part of the decreased sleep quality could be due to high levels of CO2.)

  2. NTA, I can’t sleep when my husband snores. Are ear plugs an option for you while he works on getting to an ENT specialist?

  3. NTA. Everyone should be able to get good sleep and his refusal to acknowledge how it’s affecting you is unreasonable. He should get it checked out for his own sake and for yours.

  4. Sleep separate. My husband and I have been happily married and well rested for 14+ years because of it. There’s no law saying you have to sleep together as a couple lol.

  5. NTA I’ve gone through this. He can go to the doctor or go to sleep in another room. You need proper sleep

  6. Nah you’re not being harsh. You’re sleep deprived while he’s out here sounding like a broken tea kettle. If something he’s doing is wrecking your rest, he needs to get it checked. You’re not asking for a diamond ring, just a doctor visit. Don’t let it go, you deserve real sleep.

    1. Right? I noticed the age difference rightaway. Relationship dynamic is not working partly because of this. What is he doing with someone 11 years younger than him.

    1. Not really, since tons of men refuse to go to the doctor unless they are actively bleeding out. A woman his age would still have to force him to go see a doctor.
