My friend sleeps over at my place occasionally and while I was asleep he took my psychiatric medications (not all, a few of them) without my permission.
Even before this happened, I didn’t really like their personality since he’s racist and constantly make jokes about it. Or he’ll make jokes about people saying how they’re poor and don’t have money like he does. I would normally never befriend him, but he started dating my best friend 3 years ago. And I wanted to give him a chance because he was hanging out with us a lot. He has some good qualities about him too like he’s caring and always willing to help me out no matter what.
But yeah after he stole from me I’m not sure about it. I live in a country where the law is very strict about drugs, and the only reason I found out he stole is he got searched by the police and got caught. They took him into custody and he’s still there. In the statement, he gave them my name saying he took them from me. And now I’ll be contacted by the police, but since they’re prescribed to me I don’t think I’ll get into trouble.
I’m considering ending the friendship due to this and overall i just don’t need the negative energy he gives off. But he’s still dating my best friend and we go to same university so it will be awkward.
Also this is not related but I found out that he used to have a crush on me while he was flirting with my best friend and told other people he wished he could date me WHILE flirting with her… so i’ve also been uncomfortable about that, but chose to not share it with the friend since it will make her feel bad for no reason.
