Ideas for a men’s closing gift?

I am a brand new realtor and closing my first deal here soon. I need ideas up to $300 for a closing gift for a man! I know he needs everything under the sun but his family will also take care of basics very easily so I need more niche ideas!

He is a first time home buyer fresh out of the marines. He has an out of state girlfriend but she won’t be moving in for a few months. He doesn’t like hard alcohol or smoke. Him and his entire family are kinda crunchy. (Use non toxic everything, only take medication if absolutely necessary, research anything heavily before buying to make sure it is in fact safe/healthy)

  1. I feel like a nice set of knives for the kitchen would be pretty cool.

There’s also tons of SUPER nice multitools you could get for that price. Like really nice. Even a decent set of cookware.

  2. So I’ve got a small laser engraving business (not trying to sell here) and customization is key to turn bland things into great things. Get him a customized cuttingboard/wooden utensils. A simple pocket knife, knife set for kitchen/knife block or lawn care tools with his name engraved in it could be very nice. Coasters engraved with his sports team or favorite videogame. A wooden pen with his name. Since its the holiday season, a Christmas ornament. Bottle opener. Get a picture frame for him to put a family photo in and engraved with a nice message. Tons of things you can do.

  3. A grill, cast iron items, a quality knife, Dutch oven, air fryer, pressure cooker, toaster. Basically kitchen appliances or something long term useful.

  4. It was just the 250th Marine Corps birthday.
Grab something out of Sgt Grit nope everything good for the home is sold out. Don’t get him the stupid aluminum “negotiation” sign.

It’s like a cult so a landscaping riock with a Brass EGA on it or something would do it. Maybe a flag pole.

  5. Is he a first time home owner? If so, tools. My realtor left us a Bosch hand drill, and it was useful for ages.

  6. Although it’s kind of corny, I’m a big fan of weather stations with outdoor sensors. It’s one of those gifts that seems subpar but you end up using for decades.
