She is not one of my best friends but we get along ok. She’s often makes post about companies that we should protest because the support certain countries or how they treat certain groups of people . While I support her I admit I don’t research too many companies. Anyway for the past 2 years I’ve been looking for a part time job that works with my schedule and pays well. Also something that I will enjoy doing. The other day I received a call back from, let’s call it “Company A”, saying they wanted to hire me. Not only can the work be done remotely, the pay is at the high end of what I was seeking, and I can make my own schedule. I made the mistake of celebrating on social media about the job offer and she DMed me almost immediately with links to Company A’s business practices. She also said if I decide to work for them she would block me. We interact often because we are in the same circle of friends and I don’t want to ruin that. But this job offer is better than I could hope for. WIBTA if I took it knowing it would upset her?
