So im a 14F and everyone in this story is a bunch of highschool gals. We made plans to go to a restaurant after for our friend who we will call B, we were gonna go after her basketball game. So this girl we will call G got sick the day of and asked if we could reschedule. Personally this was the only time I was free so I said that. G said we should reschedule because she wants to go out and its not fair if we leave her out . Then the entire group except her had a group discussion and everyone collectively agreed we all still wanna go. So we tell her basically "hey sorry u cant go we can always do this another time too and our parents have already committed to doing this". So we send it to her and we go out and the next morning I get a text saying "im hurt that u lied abt going to in n out. **(WE NEVER SAID WE WERENT GOING?????)**
**anyways let me know if anything else happens ill update it**
NTA. This is just how the world works. Someone’s inability to attend an event doesn’t prevent the other attendees from going through with said event. Sometimes our friends do things without us because we’re busy, and there’s no reason to have hurt feelings over that. If that was supposed to be her birthday dinner or something like that, I would get the hurt feelings, but I didn’t see any indication in the post that this was anything except a night out with the girls. The world doesn’t revolve around your friend. She’s acting like a toddler.
NTA. I can’t believe you’ve done this. Surely this person will never ever get another chance to…. eat at a fast food restaurant
NTA
NTA. if groups waited until every single person could go no one would ever do anything.
