Hi, this situation has not happened yet but I needed to ask for someone’s opinion in advance because it’ll most likely happen.
My friend (32F) and I (24F) will be attending a music festival in April next year and the event is quite long since it’s 3 days (12 hours or so each if you want to see ALL of the artists.)
My friend suffers from back pain and she’s fine with it most of the time, but it gets worse whenever she stands/sits for longer periods of time than usual, which I totally understand is not something she controls (duh).
Today (December) she told me that she doesn’t think we’ll need to stay the entire day at the festival because of her back, and it’s true; we’re not really interested in every single one of the artists attending, but it’s my first festival ever and I would like to at least be able to see all of the artists I like, which I don’t know will all be performing within the same time slot or if some will perform earlier in the afternoon and others in the early morning, for example.
In the event that one of my artists of interest is performing within a separate time slot and she says that she wants to leave, AITA for helping her to pay for a ride home while I stay until the artist is done?
