AITA if for telling my mom to stop commenting on my appearance if she doesn’t like my attitude?

I (22f) live at home with my single mum (I pay rent and pay most of my own expenses but not all to be fair). My mum constantly nags about my appliance but not in the way you would expect. Often I hear remarks like ‘you look tired’ maybe put some more makeup on or ‘are you sure you want to go out like that, isn’t that a bit oldfashioned’. TBF I do dress a bit dainty but I like it. Last week I was going to a party of a boy I had a crush on, me and my mum had been speaking and gossiping about it all week. When she saw the long floral dress I was in she said “You’d look so much prettier if you put a little more effort in.” I replied, “I like how I look.” She laughed and said she was “just being honest.” At that I said " when you say things like that, it makes me not want to be around you and I slammed the door". Since then she has barely been speaking to me. As a single mother that probably hurts more but I lost my temper. AITA
