I’m Boy 1
Boy 1: I know we have a lot of tasks, but that’s why I’m the leader. I’ll organize everything and set deadlines so it doesn’t get chaotic. Researching the market next week is just prep for the bazaar; we’re not buying anything yet. Not everyone has to go to the market.
Boy 1: I get that the bazaar is in March, but we should use this time to get ready and be organized.
Boy 1: Remember, I’m the leader, so let’s stick to the plan.
Boy 1: Trust the plan I made and follow the tasks. I promise it’ll work out.
Boy 1: Also, if you have issues, please message me privately next time, not in the group chat.
Girl 1: You should also listen to our ideas. It’s not just yours.
Girl 1: Honestly, you could just do everything yourself.
Boy 1: Okay, that works. My Pacman idea came from me, and I also picked the food.
Boy 1: I’ll go along with your plan. Show me how you want to organize the tasks so we can move efficiently. We don’t want to rush.
Boy 1: My role will be cooking. Just tell me what to cook.
Girl 1: Why do you get to decide everything? What about the rest of us?
Boy 1: The Pacman game came from Boy 2, and I don’t know who chose the food. If you pick the food, make sure to check the ingredients, the cost, and how long it takes to cook. I handle the deadlines and schedule as leader. You guys can choose the food, booth design, logo, company name, and slogan. Anything else?
Boy 1: If you pick the food, company name, and game, then what’s my role? What do you want me to do?
Boy 1: To clarify, as leader, I set the schedule, organize tasks, and make sure everything gets done on time. That doesn’t mean I decide everything. You still get to pick the food, booth design, logo, company name, and slogan.
Boy 1: My job is just to decide when and how we do tasks so we don’t rush and the bazaar goes smoothly. If you have ideas, share them properly in the group chat or PM me so we can discuss.
Boy 1: This way, everyone’s ideas are heard, and we can figure out the best way to implement them.
Girl 1: You’re not even showing up. How can you help? You just chat but don’t do anything. You say you’re the leader but you’re a burden to us.
Girl 2: OMG WTH.
Boy 1: Let’s discuss this on Thursday so I can explain my side clearly.
Girl 2: What’s happening, bro?
Boy 1: I’ll explain all my plans on Thursday. Sorry for being absent, I had a fever.
Boy 1: Also, next week you don’t need to go to the market. I’ll go alone and do the research in advance.
Am I the asshole?
Edit: Thankyou for these comments, I’m currently in senior high school and your comments changed my view on how to become a leader. I’ve apologized to my group mates and now I know how I must act, then one day I can be a real leader.
