In Diablo 4, the highest tier of loot isn’t easy to come by, in my 100+ hours of gameplay I’ve only had two pieces of it, out of thousands of drops.
In the game you can salvage gear you don’t want and use the materials later or you can trade them.
I just unlocked a cache to get one of the “Mythic Uniques” as they’re called in the game, and sent my reaction to my buddy because it’s something I can’t really use, but could salvage to get halfway to my next cache already.
However, he wants me to give it to him because kg would be good for his build. After I seemed hesitant to do so he dismissed it saying “Nvm all yours I can still gamble for one anyway.” But now I feel like I’m being selfish for not trading it with him. Even though I’ve given him loads of loot that’s dropped for me in the past. AITA?
It’s fine to ask for it and it’s fine for you to say no. When he sensed your reticence, he dropped it immediately.
NAH
(Edit:spelling)
Considering Mythic Caches and Mythic Uniques are account bound and can’t be traded to others, NTA
Didn’t even realize this until you’d said it, shout out, thank you!
You’re welcome! I hope you get the mythic you’re hoping for (:
And if you get the selig amulet, I’m sorry, my god awful luck rubbed off on you
I’ve already gotten the damned poison helmet and a stealth chest piece that just don’t work for me because my paladin is all hack n slash, but now I have to deal with my buddy being really childish (26 year old full grown man calling me greedy over not wanting to give him my loot)
yeah, was going to say this
NTA. Your drop, your call. Mythics are rare as hell, you don’t owe anyone that
You can’t trade mythics..
NTAH- you are over thinking this. Take a deep breath, sounds like your friend doesn’t really care.
NTA. Mythic items are extremely rare. take it easy.
Is it yours? Then he’s not entitled to it, you are. How did you get it, hard work? Then he’s not entitled to it, you are. You’re NTA.
Aren’t they account/player bound? Yah Nta
Come to think of it aren’t like 90% of purple items account bound nowadays? Been a while since I played
NAH, I think you may be overreacting though. You set a boundary and they seem to be respecting it
