1. Our Delivery Commitment

At RUDY FLOWER, we are dedicated to delivering your floral arrangements with the utmost care and punctuality. Our goal is to ensure that every bouquet arrives fresh, beautiful, and on time to create a wonderful experience for your recipient. This policy outlines the details of our local delivery service within Harrisonburg, Virginia, and the surrounding areas.

2. Delivery Zones & Fees

Our delivery service is zone-based to provide fair and accurate pricing. The final delivery fee is calculated at checkout after the recipient’s full address and zip code are entered.

Local Zone (Harrisonburg City): Deliveries within Harrisonburg city limits have a standard delivery fee.
Extended Zone (Surrounding Areas): Deliveries to nearby towns and locations outside the immediate city limits will have a slightly higher fee based on the additional distance.

3. Delivery Times & Scheduling

A. Standard Delivery:

Our standard delivery window is between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Saturday.
While we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time, we will make every effort to deliver your order within this timeframe.

B. Same-Day Delivery:

We are pleased to offer same-day flower delivery in Harrisonburg and our surrounding zones.
To be eligible for same-day delivery, your order must be placed before 1:00 PM on the day of delivery.
Orders placed after the 1:00 PM cutoff time will be scheduled for delivery on the next business day.

C. Specific Time Requests:

If you require a delivery within a more specific window (e.g., morning or afternoon), please note it in the “Special Instructions” box at checkout. We will do our very best to accommodate your request, though it is not guaranteed.

4. Peak Seasons & Holidays

During peak floral holidays such as Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day, our delivery volume is extremely high. To ensure a smooth process for everyone:

We recommend placing your orders well in advance.
Specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed. All orders will be delivered during standard business hours.
Same-day delivery availability may be limited.

5. Delivery Procedures

A. If the Recipient is Not Available: The safe delivery of your gift is our top priority. If the recipient is not at home:

Our courier will first look for a safe, secure, and weather-protected location to leave the arrangement (e.g., a covered front porch, out of direct sunlight).
If a safe location isn’t available, we may attempt to leave the flowers with a neighbor and will attach a door tag to the recipient’s door and/or call them.
If no other option is possible, the arrangement will be returned to our shop. We will contact you to reschedule the delivery, which will require a new delivery fee.

B. Deliveries to Businesses, Hospitals, or Schools:

Please provide the full company/hospital/school name, a room/ward/office number, and a contact phone number for the recipient.
Deliveries to these locations will be made to the front desk, reception, or mailroom, which is then responsible for delivering the arrangement to the recipient.

6. Incorrect Address or Refused Deliveries

The customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. RUDY FLOWER is not liable for delays or non-delivery due to an incorrect address. A re-delivery fee will be charged to send the order to the correct address.
If a delivery is refused by the recipient, the sender will still be held responsible for the full cost of the order.

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully delivered, giving you peace of mind that your beautiful gift has arrived.
